Dedicated to my baby daughter,
to whom I just gave a teary hug, and kiss goodbye,
as she departed  for her extended adventure in Spain.

 She will be studying at university in Seville over
the next several months.  This will be the greatest
length of time and distance we have ever been separated.

I am so proud of this child of mine, who I nicknamed
“butterfly baby” when she was small;

A remarkable young woman
who is kind, strong, sensitive, brilliant and  100%
Love!

Spread those wings
and
Fly High
my Darling

I Love You,
Mom

Horseshoe Crab Healer

Meet the Sea Creature
we call: Crab of
Horseshoe;

 You may wonder why he is
worthy of a post,
and splashy
photo too.

~~

Unlike us humans,
having blood
iron
red;

 The Horseshoe Crab
emits serum of
blue copper
instead.

~~

 This ancient living fossil
is a
healer and
a
friend;

 He may even save your
very life,
time and time
again.

~~

His blue blood
possesses unique
and
wondrous
powers;

 Exposing toxins in our drug supply,
and alerting us
to lurking bacterial
prowlers.

~~

This marvelous shelled creature
boasts ten compounded eyes
containing a thousand
sensors of
light;

Making medical research on our
own optic nerves a
most successful
plight.

 ~~

With such precious gifts to give us,
Having existed long before
dinosaurs ever
roamed;

Let us vow to protect the
Horseshoe Crab,
and honor him
with this
poem!

Walk With Me

Let’s take a walk
Come hold my
Hand

We’ll stroll along
Warm grains of
Sand;

Our toes sink in
And melt so
Deep

Smooth tumbled stones
Caress our
Feet;

We’ll step into
The breaking
Waves

Ionic breeze
Ignites our
Day;

And then you’ll stop
To stroke my
Hair

I’ll find your eyes
And hold the
Stare;

You’ll offer me a
Pink sea
Shell

I’ll hear the
Echoed truths it
Tells;

And when we reach
Our resting
Space

I’ll beg to kiss
Your salty
Face.

Ladder To The Sun

Follow me
Follow me
I found a ladder
To the sun;

One step at a time
That’s all it takes,
Join our caravan
Of fun.
~~~
We’ll travel above
Silk purple skies
Our chariots,
The clouds;
Our path of night
Lit up by stars,
Moon beaming
Full and proud.
~~~

We’ll sleep in beds of
Puffy white, while
Sun gods
Keep us
Warm;

They’ll protect us
From those gusty winds,
And shelter us from
Storms.
~~~
So follow me
It’s single-file
Climb upward
One by one;
For each step we take,
Each wish we make
Means our journey
Has begun.
Crystal Ball II~Dusk
Crystal ball glows
Purple
Red
Summons us, with
No words
Said.
  Quartz
Induced blurred
Trance-like
State;
We float past
Oak trees
Etched in
Fate.
 Jagged Rocks,
Our
Touchstones
Pure;
 Mud
Beneath
Earth’s anchored
Floor.
Indigo water,
Specter of
Light;
 Bath of
Rapture:
Consecrates
Night.
My Crystal Ball
Gaze into
My
Crystal
Ball
Potential:
Limitless
No borders
Or walls.
Paths
Paved with
Gold
Translucent
Blue
Sky;
You
Needn’t
Hesitate, nor
Wonder
Why.
Winged creatures
Sing–
‘Welcome’
Invite you
To stay;
Emerald trees
Offer
Branches,
To guide your
Way.
So rub my
Crystal ball
And
Know,
The
Journey
Awaits us;
It’s time to go.
Storyteller Of Salt
When we quiet our minds
We so easily hear
Wise words of the waves
Dialect: flowing and clear.
 Hypnotic salt tales
Told in soft rhythmic hum
Rippling echoes of ocean,
Reflect voices of sun.
 The grand stories our sea tells
Will enchant and enthrall;
Since the lessons our tides teach,
Pertain to us all.
~Robyn Lee
Classic Joy
In that pure perfect zone
Excited and free,
Wet luscious sand
Meets a vibrating sea;
Senses are flowing
Sights, textures, and sound,
 As he makes his great mark,
In God’s timeless
playground.
