Walk With Me
Let’s take a walk
Come hold my
Hand
We’ll stroll along
Warm grains of
Sand;
Our toes sink in
And melt so
Deep
Smooth tumbled stones
Caress our
Feet;
We’ll step into
The breaking
Waves
Ionic breeze
Ignites our
Day;
And then you’ll stop
To stroke my
Hair
I’ll find your eyes
And hold the
Stare;
You’ll offer me a
Pink sea
Shell
I’ll hear the
Echoed truths it
Tells;
And when we reach
Our resting
Space
I’ll beg to kiss
Your salty
Face.
©Robyn Lee
Blown away ………
that’s all ….xx

August 14, 2012 at 9:07 PM
Thank you dearest Linda … so glad you were able to ‘go there’ for a bit 🙂 Just something fun and light…. have taken this “walk” so many times over the years that it’s just a part of me now…which is wonderful! Gratitude and Love , Robyn
August 14, 2012 at 9:34 PM
I can hear and smell the sea in this wonderful poem and image. I love the idea of kissing a salty face – beautiful!
August 14, 2012 at 9:07 PM
LOL – yes Julie — I liked that line a lot…thought: what could be better at the end of sensual beach walk than kissing a ‘salty face’ ?? 🙂 Something fun. So glad you enjoyed my play xo

August 14, 2012 at 11:32 PM
I must say, this is one experience I long to have, a romantic, sexy walk on the beach with my lover in hand…..I smiled the whole way through, so warm, inviting and impassioned. I loved seeing, hearing and feeling through you on this dream walk…..that photo, let me tell you is just amazing…..such warmth, depth and vivid color, and the angle you used was genius for this shot…..
and too as a collector I would have a field day here, joy!
Fantastic share, beautiful lady….. xoxo
love and hugs
Celeste
August 14, 2012 at 11:42 PM
Thank you so much Celeste…just that it got you ‘longing’ for that walk with your lover — makes me really happy 🙂 It’s actually a very real walk for me — though have not had opportunity lately – and thus, my fantasy post to share with all my beloved blog friends. Oh you are the first to mention the perspective of the shot… which was a bit unusual. I was prone (belly-down) right in the sand – so the visual of the stones are much more vivid that what we ordinary see from our standing position. I think that helped inspire me to realize just how magical this surface beneath our feet is too! Appreciate your noticing that! So thrilled you enjoyed ~ Love right back to you, and so enjoyed your last chapter…. So engrossed that I may just dream of Lilith and her plight!! xxoo RL
August 15, 2012 at 12:52 AM
Pretty words…incredible photograph, Robyn…well-done….
August 14, 2012 at 11:49 PM
oooo So glad you liked the image Scott… was just saying to Celeste – the perspective is unusual since we never look at the stones from the prone (belly down) position like this — but thought it made an interesting visual ~ and took my imagination on “The Walk” ~ Thank you dear one!! xo
August 15, 2012 at 12:54 AM
You are most welcome, Miss Robyn; I liked it whole bunches! And you’re right, we don’t often lay on the beach to make an image of the stones like that…I have done something similar with lying in a field and taking face-to-face shots of dandelions…that was surprisingly fun! 🙂
August 15, 2012 at 12:58 AM
Beautiful shot. I remember beaches like this. You have to watch every step. I miss it.
August 14, 2012 at 11:59 PM
Thanks so much 8teen39! Yes – especially during certain tides. Some times of day there are very little stones and shells – and others (like this) so many… Keeps life interesting 🙂 So glad you enjoyed and brought back good memories! ~R
August 15, 2012 at 12:56 AM
Delicious visual stirred up by your words, so many colours on the beach. Jane 🙂
August 15, 2012 at 12:14 AM
Thanks so much Jane! So glad you enjoyed the visual together with the poem 🙂 x
August 15, 2012 at 11:45 AM
The words were awesome but frankly, I couldn’t take my eyes off the photo….kept looking at each rock and shell, wondering where this magnificent beach is….NICE!
August 15, 2012 at 12:23 AM
Wow…thank you Lillte L! Yes – a very amazing beach… the tide was just right for catching a glimpse at all the stones and shells too (later in the day)… It is a beach out on the Eastern Coast of Long Island, NY ~ wear I reside. Has been very well protected and still has a wide expanse of shore line unlike many of the other beaches here. Thank you so much for your lovely comment x ~R
August 15, 2012 at 11:47 AM
I really want to walk with this feeling of love. 🙂
Majestic picture you have captured, Robyn. Enjoy the space in kisses. 🙂
August 15, 2012 at 12:42 AM
Thank you so much Pawan… certainly can take the “walk” any time you’d like with the aid of my post 🙂 I am so glad you enjoyed ~ and sending salted “kisses” to you today for your lovely comment 🙂
August 15, 2012 at 11:52 AM
A moment I would love to have with you. I know a walk is simply about connecting higher self. Blessings, Robyn. You are dear to me. Love. 🙂

Perfect and sweet. Love the last line. Your sweetness shines through in this. The photo is at a great angle…makes me want to collect those rocks and shells. Like I’m right there. Excellent and feels good to read and view. Sweet dreams Sea Sis ~ Sam 🙂
August 15, 2012 at 2:18 AM
Thank you so much Sam! Another fun fantasy walk while I’m trying to figure out how to make it happen….appointment with new therapist tonight so will keep hopeful. Yes – that angle really picked up on the length and depth of the shore path. You would love collecting here too… So glad you had a virtual joy in this 🙂 ~ Thank also for sweet dreams wishes — we had horrific storms here last night that rocked the house like a mini-earthquake — I was up till 5 am ~ yikes!! Much Love to you ~ and so happy for the youtube video that was produced with your important message 🙂 xo
August 15, 2012 at 4:18 PM
I am so thankful for your light. 🙂
August 15, 2012 at 7:28 PM
A beautiful photo. The ocean is my favorite place to be. I like the description in the poem. You took me with strong statements to good places. Thank you.
August 15, 2012 at 2:46 AM
So happy to know you enjoyed John… yes – the sea is in you too — I remember that 🙂 Good thoughts your way 🙂
August 15, 2012 at 4:18 PM
I love rocks so much. Yesterday I took Jack and Emma to the river and we went rock hunting on the beach before they jumped in the water to swim. Your photo is exquisite. I want to be there inside your wonderful photo and pick every single one up and hold each in my hand. The photo evokes such riches to behold. Thank you, sleep well tonight! Robyn, with much affection, Penny
August 15, 2012 at 2:53 AM
Awww-Penny, I can picture you with those 2 sweet little ones rock hunting Penny!! Thank you so much for your lovely words re: photo and poem… Jump in any time to collect some of my virtual riches and jewels (and bring Emma and Jack too!)…. sleep was a challenge — really serious storm had my house shaking in its foundation … maybe tonight will be better… have a restful night yourself dear one… much love… Robyn

August 16, 2012 at 12:13 AM
Lovely poem and photograph…I don’t get to walk on the beach any more!!
August 15, 2012 at 3:43 AM
Thanks so much Lisa…. I have not been able lately either, but am reminiscing as I used to take beach walks every single day years ago. I hope the post gave you a medium to imagine and hoping you get to stroll the shorelines again soon 🙂
August 15, 2012 at 4:28 PM
I like to read the comments before I comment, so as not to say the same thing as others… in this case the comments say something about the post… so many I decided not to read..(bit of a hurry actually, got a meeting) so if I say the same as others tough… The photo, what made you take it at an angle like that..? It is such a different perspective to anything I would have thought of… bloody marvelous, magnificent and I run out of expressions to make on the quality, colours and composition… do you work for National Geographics??? The words, oh man there I was strolling down the beach with you… till I remembered I’m married and so are you… you are a Master with words, I can close my eyes and hear the waves breaking on the beach, I can smell the sea salt and I can picture the walk with a loved one… I hereby declare you a Professor of Poetry.. a PhD actually I’m going to call you Doctor Robyn….
August 15, 2012 at 7:55 AM
Thanks dear bulldog! Oh – the angle — I was just needing to rest a bit and decided to sprawl out on my tummy right in the sand 🙂 No kidding!!! Had my little camera on hand — and thought what a cool way to get this close-up perspective of all those stones and shells along the shore!!! I’ve gone down low for other shots too but always had a single focus (shell, feather etc.) This was more about the ‘walk’ to me.
So glad you enjoyed and thought the photo strategy worked ok! National Geographic — not quite my friend 🙂 I would certainly need a fancier camera if I aimed that high. You on the other hand….!!!!
Grateful that you enjoy my words so much, and got that “feeling” of taking the stroll with your Linda (and maybe me too?) .. you are too funny honoring me with a ph D and everything — It’s all just for fun (and therapy) as I’ve said – but so amazing to know you think this highly of my efforts…. Loving thoughts to you today — RL
August 15, 2012 at 4:34 PM
Always look forward to read your post, Robyn – to day too… 😉

Come take my hand
Let our footprints talk to sand …
Let’s sip the gold along the shore
as the blue sign wave leaps for more ..
August 15, 2012 at 8:10 PM
Ahh – another lovely verse to honor my post! Thank you dear Nika! Sending sign waves of blue right back to you tonight 🙂 ~R

August 16, 2012 at 9:50 AM
Gorgeous words…for a stunning photo. Wistful…dreamy and so inviting! It is incredible that with one tide so many treasures can wash ashore and with the next be gone…or have new ones to explore. I just love love love everything about this words and photograph. Your beautiful soul just shines so bright with this one sweet friend! Perfection 🙂 Hugs and so much love!! ♥♥♥ xoxo
August 16, 2012 at 1:44 AM
So much gratitude Christina!! I love your verbal images here.. how the treasures in one tide can be there, then be gone… and new ones reveal themselves to explore. It sounds very much like a metaphor for a lot in life doesn’t it??!! Actually would have been a wonderful focus for a poem… you may need to get writing — and if you need a “waves” photo I can probably conjure one for you from my stash!!! 🙂 So happy you enjoyed dearest friend… Much Love to you xxoo ♥ ~R
August 16, 2012 at 8:33 AM
oooooo! What an awesome idea…this post (your words and photo did conjure images in my mind of mysterious treasures the sea gives…and takes). I think I’m going to have to meditate on that one….and to get to use one of your amazing photographs would be such a HUGE honor!!! Oh, I’m just so excitted about this now! You are so incredibly fantastic….and quite the mind reader 😀 !! So so much love sweetest friend ♥♥♥ !!
August 17, 2012 at 5:29 PM
Well it would be awesome to collaborate with you that way Christina. If I can provided you a waves photo, just say the word — I’d be thrilled and honored too! If you want a certain ‘effect’ I’ll do my best to find you the perfect image 🙂 Your writing is really taking off now ~ loved today’s post so much… keep feeling good and thriving xo Much Love dear one!! ~RL
August 17, 2012 at 8:40 PM
I’m so excited!! 😀 I would love to have a shot representing the tide bringing in treasures and taking them away….as for which of your gorgeous photos, well I would absolutely love your input on that!!
Thank you so much for your sweet compliment…I’m just having so much more fun writing then I ever dreamed…an accidental hobby/passion/drive lol!! I know you know what I mean! You have all my wishes, prayers, and hopes to have more and more better days!! Sending so so much love!!! xoxo
August 18, 2012 at 12:14 AM
First one that came to mind was this one I used a while back in a post and framed it here since I love it so: https://throughthehealinglens.com/2012/07/08/gratify/ I have lots though so if you want a different effect for whatever masterpiece you compose in writing – let me know. So happy the writing is ‘becoming you’ in so many ways !! Thank you for your warm thoughts my way too…. appreciate always!! xo
August 18, 2012 at 12:22 AM
OH! This is spectacular!! I am in love with this shot! I will just stare at it and let the sea speak to me 😀 ! I’m so excited to do this project with you! Such a HUGE honor for me…more than I can say!! Thank you so very much! So so much love!!! xoxoxo
August 18, 2012 at 12:42 AM
If you would like more “treasures” for your post… I just came across another from the same “photo-shoot” similar but more of a side view so has a slightly different perspective and allows more sight of the stones (still great sky and ocean) … so let me know! I can email to you and you can choose 🙂 It’s just so wonderful how a “spark” of inspiration is born isn’t it! Honor for me too – and also special pleasure as I am so fond of you!! xo Much LOVE~
August 18, 2012 at 1:19 AM
Oooo yes, please do email it! Yes! –spark of imagination…love it!! — This is just so very way cool!! 😀 I’m just so hopeful to do your beautiful work justice it deserves! 🙂 You’re so sweet…I just adore you!!! August 18, 2012 at 1:28 AM
Just beautiful, Robyn,
Reminded me of childhood holidays at the beach.
I can taste & feel the salt & sand on my skin as I type.
August 16, 2012 at 6:14 AM
Thanks so much Victoria… how great that it brought back those childhood memories of beach bliss for you. xxoo much love ~ RL

August 17, 2012 at 1:37 AM
OMG … Sweet .. Sweet …sweet … I did take this walk … I felt it … So how come it wasn’t me who said these simple devine words …
August 17, 2012 at 10:05 PM
Thank you dear Tarek. So happy you got to enjoy “the walk” today 🙂 Yes – such simple words — but heartfelt, so perhaps why so Divine!! Ok- You are in charge of writing up the next beach walk for all of us to enjoy …. I’m looking forward;) Blessings and Love to you~ Robyn
August 17, 2012 at 10:47 PM
Assignment aknowledged … But sometimes later .. Nowadays i am recollecting my pieces after refalling in and out of love after 23 years of the first attack … May be this is a good rehab exercise … Thanks
August 18, 2012 at 2:46 AM
‘In and out of love’.??… this is the norm and perfectly natural, as I see it Tarek. Yes – maybe a “rehab” exercise… but actually – the person you must love first and foremost is yourself … though I bet you know that 🙂 Solo beach-walks are amongst my favorite too. After self-love, the rest becomes rather fluid. ~ Warm thoughts your way friend …. Robyn
August 19, 2012 at 1:54 AM
Robyn, you should write a poetry book. I would have loved to have studied you in all my Honors/AP English/Lit classes….maybe one day hu? Always beautiful. Always stunning…every word. And as a kid I would have had a hay-day in your colorful rocks…it would have been hard to choose which ones to take home…now I’m teaching my son to do the same thing, and of course I jump in with him and have to take some home even now! 😛 Blessings, Erin
August 17, 2012 at 11:03 PM
Oh Erin – that is such lovely compliment. Thank you from my heart… It’s most amazing to hear this since I’ve never really worked with poetry before. Always liked it, read a bunch – and wrote some stuff as a little girl, but this is my first go-at-it as an adult. In college I took one creative writing class and we did mostly short stories 🙂 Yes — I know you would love collecting the gems on our beaches. I’m sure you are instilling such a love of the nature in your son too ~ and what a great Mom to be able to join him the joy of collecting this way!! So much appreciate your visits Erin — Much Love, R
August 19, 2012 at 11:41 AM
Oh, this poem is absolutely beautiful and I love the photo too. I collect stones I only let myself keep one bowl full now. Each time I find a new one it has to replace an old one. That way I won’t just pick up any old stone. My stone collection is so very pretty. I’ve made myself sound such an aspie on my last two comments here. Oh well, I might as well own it at my age now.
Love and hugs lovely Robyn. Lisa. xxx 🙂
August 19, 2012 at 11:11 AM
Lisa…thank you so much. I am so glad you enjoyed. LYes – one bowl-full is a good plan for the stones and shells. They can take over, but I love them too~ No worries how you sound — it’s all GOOD ~ you sound like a wonderful soul, that is all! xxoo R
August 19, 2012 at 11:38 AM
