Casts of frozen sculptures float in sea

Bitter cold waves flow fiercely through my bones

  1. Only one who has known, knows, chronic pain, can truly identify how powerful this imagery is … this I have learned

    • Thank you very much Polly. I truly appreciate your comment… and I agree with you in every way. I often say I feel as though I exist in a different universe with this plight. Much appreciation for your validation and empathy. RL

      • It is bizarre that when one ‘looks’ OK, one is thought to ‘be’ OK … and we all know how wrong this is. Still tricky to get over it though. In time, perhaps.

      • nearly 20 years here…still a great challenge. Only those who are closest to me sort of ‘get it’ on some level. Others not so at all. All very difficult for me to cope with. I’ve found my friends here on WordPress to be most empathetic ~ believe blogging in artistic forms must attract empathic, sensitive souls. Interesting… Best to you Polly ~ sending love and light your way.

      • Same back to you Robyn – ’tis sad to feel a general lack of understanding – even if hard to say, think you’ll know what I mean. You’re right, more in the blogosphere who seem to have some idea … love and light xx
