Hope & Healing Through Photography and Poetic Expression

Entwined

This image and Jason Reeves’ song remind me that we are all connected in so many ways.

It’s a simple concept, but one that is easy to forget in the midst of our busy daily lives.  I truly believe that we are energized and empowered by our relationships with others…our family, lovers, friends, and even strangers we encounter either in person or online in the course of our daily lives.

For me it’s not always about spending time physically with others as I have been fairly isolated and restricted by my limitations…but I love knowing that there is a place for me in the hearts of those I love and care about.

Just like the branches wrapping their long arms around each other in my photo….navigating twists and turns, digging deep into each other’s intricate grooves and crevices;

it brings me great peace to know that, in one way or another, we are all ‘entwined’!

Much Love, Robyn

  2. Yes Stan – this was a fisheye shot! So many have asked me if some of my others images are fisheye when they were actually wide angle. I will definitely check out your post tonight! I am sure will be fabulous….as you are a talented artist, that is evident. So glad this provided some motivation/inspriation for you — flattered actually:)

      • I came back to reblog this piece as my “mother” (smiles). Perhaps you prefer not to be reblogged? I am also having trouble getting the “follow” button to work, maybe I need to reboot or something. I have Stan’s posted. Take care and thank you so much for your caption.

      • Robyn, you’ve been on mind lately and your name appeared on my latest poem, so i’m taking that as a sign i need to connect with you, ask how you are, tell you that i miss your poetry immensely, selfishly, but that you occupy a special place in my heart, that Hopeful place, that never giving up place, that well of inspirational that you make me feel every time i think you. sending my energy and love to you, my special friend. {{{ h u g s }}}
