Our Path

“Come now
my
love,”

~

you
softly
say;

~

I
close
my eyes;

~

I
slip
away.

~

“Walk
swift,
our path,”

~

your
whisper
pleads;

~

I
find
my
breath

~

concede
my
need.

~

You
mark
the  trails

~

with
pines
of
gold;

~

You
guide
my
steps

~

whilst
truths
unfold;

~

Beneath
our
tree

~

I wait
for
you,

~

unearthing
dreams

~

we
never
knew.

Into The Woods

img_00402

Wandering … aimlessly

Venturing
into the
heart

of
your

evergreen
wood.

~

Reaching … trustingly

Taking
firm
hold

of
your

long
fibrous
branches

~

Sinking … intently

Grounding
myself;

 Entwined
in
the
labyrinth

of
your

deep
faithful
roots

~

Hiding … cautiously

Seeking
shelter

beneath
the dense
brush

of
your

vast
eternal
strength;

~

Until

at
last

~

you
whisper

my
name

~

and
breathe
me

full

~

of

pure
pine
essence;

~

Transforming
conscious
being

and

~

Flooding
my
soul

with

~

Light.

Mandala Of Her Mind

Like a spider,
setting forth
to make
her
way;

Strand by strand,
she weaves
together
antique
threads

of
hope
truth
wisdom.

~~~
Carefully
connecting
delicate
fibers
of
promises
suspended;
She watches
as
mosaic patterns
emerge,
revealing
small
segments of
self.
~~~

Laboriously,
she knits
complex
arrangements,

Intricate
mazes
designed to
capture

dreams
unrealized;

tying
meticulous knots
tightly,

at each
cross-section.

~~~
With
tenuous
twists and
turns,
she
spins
through
tangled tales
of
love;
swinging
wildly
from
silken strings
of
ambiguity.
~~~

Finally,
in the heart
of her
mandala

she
rests

~~~
Knowing
that
her work
for
today
is
done.
Once Upon A Time
“…for with each dawn,
she found new hope that someday,
her dreams of happiness would come true.”
~
Cinderella
Walt Disney, 1950
 I am most delighted to invite you to enjoy this wonderful poem by fellow blogger, Julie Catherine, entitled Sonnet Sequence: On Cinderella « .  Julie and I agree that, together, the posts make a lovely collaboration of image and words.
Conscious Dreams
“Take note of the dreams you have while
you are peacefully awake; for those
dreams house secret windows,
providing clear view of that
which reflects your
most authentic
self.”
Prayer
“Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul.
It is daily admission of one’s weakness.
It is better in prayer to have a heart without words,
than words without heart.”
~ Mahatma Gandhi
Kaleidoscopic hues of the soul
Obstacles
“What is more worthy of your pain than the evolution of your soul?”
~ Gary Zukav
This quote by Mr. Zukav above is insightful, but I feel my soul has evolved enough at this point!
Much Love, Robyn Lee
