  3. The Autumn colours are so beautiful…. if the weather would just be kinder I’d love the time of year…

    October 13, 2012 at 1:42 AM

    • Yes – they are really vibrant this year… warming in aesthetic appeal, but as you said — would be nice if the temps stayed a little warmer too. So far it’s not awful. Bracing for the ‘wintertide’ ahead though ~ Sending Love dear friend ~ x

    Let me join you in
    those golden sands
that open the gate to whiteness
    Where chilled silence
    carries our frozen breath
    waiting for the spark of
    our warmth.

    • What am I going to do with you Nika? 😉 ~ you just keep these coming my friend ~ so appreciate!! One of these days we will have to collect all of your vignette poetry here in my comments and do some kind of collage post referencing them all. I have to think about a format… they are all quite wonderful! Cheers to the the ‘spark of our warmth’ during wintertide 🙂 ~ Robyn

Think fast then , ageing men can’t think , while smart ladies grow sharper each passing moment.:)

  9. I love your poem and particularly your photo Robyn. We have seen much shimmering gold with the aspens changing but not a lot of reds. This is just beautiful. Have a lovely weekend. 🙂

    October 13, 2012 at 10:50 AM

    • Thanks so much LuAnn! Yes – the reds are compelling aren’t they? Just sort of ‘pop’ the senses in many ways. Fall is such welcoming season — though winter will soon make its presence known in a bold kind of way — I am sure!! Enjoy your weekend as well!! 🙂 R
