Beautiful – love the red sun on the fence.

Thanks Victoria… has been gloomy here all week and I’d saved this one for times like this.
Sunshine beyond the fence… makes me remember to hang on to hope and remember there is light ahead if I just give myself the tools to get there!

I love the light and the contrast between the orange and blue hues 🙂

Oh Thank you Tania. Yes – a lot of interesting contrast here. Appreciate your comment so much!

Lovely image. It’s nice that you can find beauty in those metaphoric barriers in your life.

Thanks Jill…always working on it! My Mom just commented on this post on my FB page and pointed out that she can visualize a “heart” symbol in this image. I did not see it… but think now she means the body of water. So two metaphors in the imagery. How interesting. A sign?? 🙂

No – she just informed me it is a smaller heart image, outlined with tree branches, with the point (bottom of heart) down by the fence. I’m amazed!

Yes, I can see it. Often in photography we are drawn to creating a particular shot, only later to discover there is much more going on in it than originally conceived. Upon “rereading” the image, not unlike a poem, we are able to unlock deeper meaning and metaphors than at first glance.

Yes – Jill! I get it, this has happened before. Shelter and Beyond Bars comes to mind. The Valentine’s day “pond” did not appear a heart to me either till later – and perfect for the holiday. Very interesting – and fun to contemplate. From a psyche perspective – can be cathartic too!

Love the colors here — the burnt orange and blue contrasts — very nice!
