What a beautiful peaceful scene. No wonder there was an easel & some painting happening.
Yours? Robyn.

Thanks so much Victoria…. was very serene, yes…. Actually the easel was not mine… when I arrived at the wildlife refuge , this particular day, there were a group of students before the lake paintng. It was an awesome sight… I took a series of shots, but liked this one sans painter and displaying the art in progress. Just something about the mood and the way the sun stroked down upon the scene, almost like a paintbrush. Much Love ~ R 🌈

Quite a lovely still-life. I really like the colors you were working with. Hugs, Barbara
December 10, 2012 at 1:49 AM
Barbara, thanks so very much. I thought so too (still-life)…though I was just the observer of this young artist at work in the wildlife refuge one day. Was a treat witness ~ much love, Robyn
December 10, 2012 at 11:09 AM
Do you paint too?
December 10, 2012 at 2:24 AM
🙂 ~ no dear Julie…never even attempted! I was merely an observer by chance one day I went to visit the woods…. encountered this scene (along with a group of student painters) when I arrived. What a treat ~ 🐣 Love ~ R
December 10, 2012 at 11:12 AM
I love this post… the easel just gives the scene so much more meaning… i love it.. hugs to you… great post as usual…
December 10, 2012 at 3:06 AM
Thanks so much dearest bulldog ~ I do agree… when I arrived for a short visit to the woods one day and set my sight on this art in progress, I was in awe ~ so thrilled you enjoyed as well xo📷

Love the angle! Very cool!
December 10, 2012 at 3:09 AM
Thank you so much wannabe!! Yes – somehow caught the sunrays doing their own artwork on this scene ~ lucky angle I believe!! xo R 🌸
December 10, 2012 at 11:18 AM
It is a beautiful view, Robyn. And is the painting finished?
It is a perfect setting —
calm circle of green, and modest
reflection of blue support — with natural light
and muses to queue for evening to come
Blessings and love. 🙂

Thank you dear Pawan… so glad you enjoyed this! I belive this painting is unfinished… isn’t that so much the metaphor in life too… 😉 I was merely the “observer” of a young artist who stepped away from her easel for moment. Something about the scene drew me in ~ something Divine about the sunrays stroking down over the sky’s canvas and then the projecton of the artist’s work onto the natural setting. Thrilled you could see this too ~ Love and Blessings ~ RL 🌼

Such a beautiful scene Robyn for a Monday morning. Thank you! Much love to you, Ruth xx
December 10, 2012 at 5:37 AM
Ruth ~ thank you so much dear friend ~ yes — a very dreary Monday morning it is here in NY ~ so this bit of “light” is ever so welcomed. So happy you enjoyed. Sending lots of love and Light ~ 🌞 RL

December 10, 2012 at 11:34 AM
What a gorgeous painting withing a spectacular scene, Robyn….there is such peace here, such lightness of hand….one feels the beauty of “non-interference” with nature, Nature….with God, feeling a reverence for things right and beautiful as they Are….such wisdom here, thank you, Love, Linda
December 10, 2012 at 8:26 AM
So glad you enjoyed this dearest Linda ~ I was merely the silent “observer” this day in the woods… was a blessing to be part of the oneness this invisible artist had with the natural setting before her. Very speciall to be able to capture the moment in this image. Yes – lightness of hand – and then lightness of Divine paintbrush in the sky too ~ it all just seemed so much a gift this day. Thank you and Love ~ Robyn⛅

Thank you so much Robyn ~ I was lucky to encounter this scene spontaneously, and knew instantly I needed to post it! Very thrilled you enjoyed it ~ was actually uncertain of the lighting but in context I also really liked the sunbeams coming down this way!! Love to you 🌈~ R

What a scene! Wish I could do this too some day. But most of the parks here are filled with people and I don’t think I have the guts to paint in front of watchers!
December 11, 2012 at 7:30 PM
Thank you rynnasaryonnah!! Yes – I was the watcher for sure… went to wildlife preserve for a nature walk – and was lucky to behold this scene as I was entering… Was a small group actually… took lots of shots of the artists — enjoyed!! 🙂 RL

How do you do it Robyn? Your talent and grace with words is amazing to me. And then you always have just the perfect photograph or is it the other way around dearest friend of mine. I’ll be gone for a bit so wanted to let you know in particular, I’ve come to look forward to our exchanges, you have become very special to me and I cherish our friendship, hopefully I will still have some little time to post and visit, please take care of you ~ with much love and affection to you ~ Penny
December 12, 2012 at 12:32 AM
Oh Penny…you are always so generous with your loving words! Thank you. Most always the photo is first (as was here)… I am not sure I am capable of words without photo actually ??!!! Now you got me thinking…. I guess my muse is always a picture– what does that say about me?? 🙂 Please do keep in touch ~ and glad to know just busy and all is good there… I also cherish our friendship and adore Christina as well… kisses to the entire family from me for the holiday season and a blessed New Year (Joy Health and Love) ~ xxoo

Lovely, Robyn 🙂 I don’t know why but your posts haven’t been showing up in my reader…I need to do something about that! There is something so inspiring about your image: It is twofold: inspiring to begin creating with a brush, and to allow yourself the freedom to recreate the scene you see in your own way, or even just to begin to put the brush on the paper; and it is inspiring because the image is so beautiful, serene, calming, and warm…its the image the lens captures through your eyes, and it is shared so that we, I, can feel nature’s gift here. Thank you. I always need more hope in the winter. It is challenges my spirit at times. Blessings to you, and I hope you are feeling well, Erin
December 12, 2012 at 9:16 PM
Thank you so much dearest Erin ! I am so glad you enjoyed the image and found some inspiration. Yes — I did feel like I shared in the artist’s painting journey just a bit ~ even if I was somewhat of the silent “observer” capturing this shot while she stepped away from the easel 🙂 ~ then the backdrop of the lovely nature really made me think of how much art is inherent right there in our natural world!! So appreciate your thoughtful comment – and hope the reader kink straightens itself out ~ WordPress can get tricky at times ~ Love to you and yours during the upcoming holidays ~ xo R
December 13, 2012 at 12:18 AM
Oh, Oh! Robyn, I just love this one! Your poem is perfect for this … I can just imagine myself standing at the easel painting as I used to, many years ago. It’s one of my dreams to be well enough to be able to do that again sometime. I just adore this! Thank you so much. ~ Love, Julie xoxox
December 15, 2012 at 3:38 PM
Oh Julie ~ so glad this touched you — and gave you that vision of being behind the easel again. I can relate. I was lucky to capture this shot at our local wildlife refuge – there was a class there… looked wonderful! I do hope you can achieve this dream Julie ~ peek at this post whenever you need a spark of inspiration 🙂 ~ So happy you enjoyed dear friend ~~ Much Love xxoo
