  3. Perhaps the dog named Tournesol – the French word for sunflower – and the confused professor of the Tintin stories… ‘big smile’

    May 26, 2012 at 4:59 AM

    • Would be a great alternative name for sweet Rumi (named after the Persian Mystic Poet) !! I’m pleased to learn the French translation for sunflower today — thank you ledrakenoir!! 🙂

        May 26, 2012 at 11:39 AM

      • Good answer!!! …Or what they “should” be worrying about at any given moment — they just bask in the NOW and savor it. Bet Dogs don’t have insomnia either 🙂

  7. Oh how sweet!! (He’s not trying to get to a drink of flower water like my cat Max does, is he???!)

    May 26, 2012 at 10:09 AM

    • 😉 Thanks KT! Actually Rumi has this fetish for resting his chin on things like he’s doing on the flower vase. He likes my arm the best – but will resort to the edge of his bed- or whatever he can scout out to find his position of most comfort! I did have a kitty who drank from the flower vase though …and my glass!! 🙂
