Hope & Healing Through Photography and Poetic Expression

Fantasy

“Still round the corner there may wait, a new road or a secret gate.”

J.R.R. Tolkien

This image was captured late one afternoon when I ventured up an outdoor spiral staircase of a vacant home around the corner from mine…I was looking for Glinda and the Munchkins, but could not find them.

Much Love ~ RL

What beautiful golden colour you’ve captured, Robyn.
I love your photo (and that time of day when the light changes).

Nice mix of blue and golden hues. I bet you would have found the wicked witch under the house!!!

  5. Thanks Victoria…yes seems 4:30 is my time to finally push myself out the door here. I know the day is nearly over and have given my all to get pain under control somewhat by then. Does seem to be the best light for photos though!! I imagine early morning would be too – but haven’t gotten there yet:)

An hour after sunrise and an hour before sunset are some of the best times to photograph. Think of it as your pain doing you a favor for once!

  7. LOL! Yes Jill…probably how I got into this ‘hobby’ to begin with as this has been my pattern for walks from the start! No way that original i pod cameral would have been suitable for a decent shot at any other time of day 🙂
