Dream Harvest
These dreams I have planted
Deep under the sand;
I tenderly nurture
With kind faithful hands.
Sown with seeds of my heart,
Drenched with tears from above;
I await the great harvest:
Manifest Dreams
Grown of
Love.

Thank you boomie ~~ Reflecting on those dreams I planted back in June when I took this shot – and with MRI on Wednesday – thought this one was for now 🙂 Much Love dear one ~ R
August 28, 2012 at 1:56 AM
I like particularly ” tenderly nurture with kind faithful hands.” it reminds me that it is a gentle loving gift and that that is how we need to treat one another. Pleasant dreams,Robyn.
August 28, 2012 at 12:13 AM
I agree Jane, the intention of kindness in all that we do is paramount. Imagine what the world would be like if everyone’s mantra was to approach life with a kind heart… and it’s especially true for how we treat “self” — as that is the mirror for everything outside of us. You too — pleasant dreams Jane! x
August 28, 2012 at 1:58 AM
You are so amazing the way you match the words with the images so perfectly. It’s gobsmacking!
August 28, 2012 at 12:25 AM
I actually had to look up this ‘gobsmacking’ expression as I’d not heard it here… so cool to learn — I may actually start to use it now 🙂 Love u Julie ~ Thank you dear friend!!
August 28, 2012 at 1:59 AM

August 28, 2012 at 11:22 AM
One day those seeds you have planted will spring to life and they will grow and grow and grow until all those manifested dreams are fulfilled, then the flowers will sway gently watching over you, guiding you for all of eternity.
I hope you are bearing up today Robyn.x
August 28, 2012 at 4:54 AM
That is absolutely beautiful Chris. And thank you for your kind vision! I know you too have done some planting — so will be sure to visit your fields for some extra nurturing there too 🙂 Hanging in – off to NYC tomorrow which will be a challenging day with travel. Will keep you posted dear one ~ Much Love, R
August 28, 2012 at 11:28 AM
Medical week this week you say… My thoughts and prayers go with you… these words are magnificent and I have saved them in my special file … so that I can go back and read them at my will… the photo… beautiful, magnificent and fit so with the words…. but tell me how did you get the horizon to curve like that…??
August 28, 2012 at 5:14 AM
Thank you so much bulldog! I am touched you found these words meaningful. I thought maybe a bit corny — but hey – I am a bit “corny” –and maybe you too: ) It’s all good! Also glad you liked my shadow pose in the beach grass fields ~ A few months old now — but I was planting those seeds back then — Just takes a bit to get everything ready for the harvest -you know? 🙂 Ok – the horizon — If I recall I just used the wide angle lens for this — and I was standing up over the wood rail elevated …looking down at the fields where my shadow was cast – so it took on this curvature. Sort of cool for a surreal type effect I thought! Much Love dear one !! ~ RL
August 28, 2012 at 1:31 PM
Words mean different things to different people… and yours just mean something to me… don’t know why, but they do.. and definitely not corny…
I will have to try that wide angle trick… only problem my camera has no interchangeable lens… but does have a wide angle feature… I just loved that effect…
August 28, 2012 at 1:54 PM
So happy you don’t think they are too corny – and they resonate with you. I’m sure we are related in a some past life or something 🙂 Do feel like I know you pretty well (considering) …. 🙂 BTW – I was not ‘sitting’ in that photo (was in another I took that day) was standing – but looking down quite a ways… and so angled the camera down with the wide-angle lens. You may get the same effect with your setting on wide-angle. My camera lenses are not fancy and fit right over my i phone! They were accessory purchases. So glad you liked it bd!! xo

Your words feel gentle and healing,
August 28, 2012 at 6:49 AM
Aww, thank you Kathy — yes, very much how I was feeling as I wrote them! xo M
August 28, 2012 at 1:33 PM
Dearest Robyn, I most especially loved the wisdom and beauty of “Sown with seeds of my heart, Drenched with tears from above;”…if we plant seeds but they are not in the fertile ground of True Heart Love, they could not grow….a good Gardener, such as you understand that the “conditions of the soil” or the Nature of the Heart that holds the seeds, has so much in determining what will grow. You exemplify in this poem and others that the true Nature of Heart is God,, Pure Love….this a wisdom that you know and live, the Action of living it turns the soil…allows the growth of the Manifestation….tears of Mercy, Grace and Gratitude weep from Above. Your poem is so rich with beauty. Thank you for the offering of it and of your beautiful self! Love you, dear Friend, Linda
August 28, 2012 at 6:51 AM
Oh Linda ~ So loved your analogy to the “good gardner” and what allows those dreams to grow! I’ve never been a star gardner here on earth- but I’m hoping in the spiritual realm I can be a master some day. I am so grateful for your lovely comment today — very rich in meaning and spirit – and appreciated every word spoken with such clear intent and love. Blessings and Love for you always Linda!! ~Robyn

Thank you dear Tarek. I appreciate your loving comment ~ I did this planting a few months back when I captured this shadow of me in the greases — so still waiting on the harvest, but hopeful. 🙂 I do hope you are finding comfort and joy in your days. We are downloading ‘Cinderella Man’ and hope to watch this weekend. Have not enjoyed a movie in ages – but inspired by your post. Sending good thoughts your way my friend ~ Robyn

Robyn, there is this quandry of what to say each time I visit because each time I visit I find your latest artistry (incredible imagery through the blending of outstanding photographs and beautiful and moving words) convey so perfectly how you are thinking and feeling. Of course a gift my friend but that you share so wonderfully with your friends, a gift to us, Much love to you this day Robyn, take care of you, Penny xx
August 28, 2012 at 11:52 AM
Thank you Penny ~ that is ever so thoughtful of you to say. Perhaps because my ‘art’ is often really just ‘my therapy’ it reaches some in a very personal way and conveys my heart strongly?! Just a guess, as it’s still fairly new for me to even consider myself an ‘artist’. The creative play has been so wonderful for me though – and I am so blessed to have such loving friends here (like you) who support me. Sending much Love back your way — xxooo Robyn
August 28, 2012 at 3:07 PM
You guess very well Robyn. Yes you do portray what’s in your heart, strong and true and beautiful. Much love back my friend, xxoo Penny

What a magical post. It looks as though your shadow is emerging right up from the fields. While you are patiently waiting for your dream harvest to arrive, you may enjoy the post I published today which has a very similar theme to yours at http://boldbeautyfulyoungrestless.wordpress.com/2012/08/28/a-gods-wink-moment/

Serene. Experiencing life.
I was hooked by your words in a comment, “the intention of kindness in all that we do is paramount.”
You really capture lively shades of life, Robyn. Touching.
August 28, 2012 at 4:23 PM
Thank you so much Pawan yes I do always try to remember it’s all about “intention” – thoroughly believe this. Lively shades of life — I like that 🙂 & think you also do this in your work ~ Blessings to you and have a lovely evening !! x

The seeds of dreams
Drenched in the karmic sweat beads
Flirt with the sands of time
Each heartbeat a salvation
Each sigh a new beginning
Each day a promise of cornucopia …..

You are such a prolific writer Nika ~ beautiful this is! Each day does offer that promise of possibility doesn’t it? Thank you for always amazing me with your poetic commentary! I’m so glad you liked it Christina!! I thought maybe a little “cheesy” for some ~ but I am that way, so trying not to worry too much about showing my true colors 🙂 Haven’t posted a’ shadow’ in a while, and this shot was beginning of summer when I really was ‘planting’ those seeds… and now a new season is upon us. Thank you for your loving wishes today and always ~ Should be a big day (on top of it all I developed a problem with my eye, cyst under the top lid- ick/ouch ) a few days ago – so just another thing… life is never dull is it?! So beautiful the image of tears drenching your garden. I wonder what you are planting within yourself, that needs so much nurturing? and whatever is in the depths of you, Robyn, I hope that the love you have found as you continue to allow the seeds to grow, blossoms your dreams into a reality that is wonderful for you. Blessings, Erin
August 29, 2012 at 9:20 PM
