Thanks Julie…yes – he’s pretty incredible one-of-a-kind guy 🙂 We actually celebrated tonight so just took this shot this evening. Thank you Victoria! His eyes are more of your eye-color (super gorgeous blue) — mine are very green — but do think same shape!! Appeicate your good wishes!! We did dinner with Dad tonight — thus the 2nd picture — 🙂

You’re not the first person to think I have blue eyes Robyn – they are a greyish-green, but if I put blue mascara on my fair eyelashes, my eyes look more blue. They seem to change colour depending on my state of health.

Thanks so very much Celeste. Yes – he wanted me to know that outside forces may influence, but don’t always have to determine our destiny, and we can participate in creating our best life. Was profound to me as a little girl since I thought you had to be “lucky” for good things to occur. Of course on Father’s Day I asked him directly about his thoughts on health challenges – and there he said, we had less control unfortunately. Was interesting how the blog post spurred this dialogue! This last picture of you sitting in his lap just inspired me to write something…here goes if you don’t mind :). It came to me in another language but i wrote it in English
” A daughter is never too old
To be loved by her father
A son is never too old
to be scolded by his father
A child is never too old
to be loved by her father”
