Great quote! Best wishes for positive outcomes♥

    • Thanks Eremophila… knew this quote would resonate with you too:)

  2. laughed at one photo and was drawn into the other….I’m so glad you received some things to try…Nothing worse than not knowing what to do…

    • 🙂 Glad I could get a chuckle out of you David — one can go bonkers in the confines of those little exam rooms for hours….waiting and waiting so thought I a good time to be a little silly. Humor quells the nerve at times. Thanks much for your good wishes… yes – always good to have a plan injected with a little hope. Onward we go!

Sounds good Robyn! Miracles can happen..

Looking for answers isn’t always black and white. Often they lie in the shades of gray. Beautiful shot and remark. Glad to hear that progress was made!

    April 14, 2012 at 8:51 AM

    • Glad you liked Jill. Always interested in your feedback. Yes – answers sometimes do not emanate from the question itself. Learning I have to stay open and get out of my head sometimes…not always easy though hanging in those “shades of gray” zones while we wait!! xo

  6. That notion of releasing the question is something I have never thought about before, but now I am – thank you! I keep you in my thoughts a lot (which doesn’t do you any good I know, but just wanted you to know!) – go girl!

    April 14, 2012 at 9:50 AM

    • Yes Jules…not easy as I just said to Jill. I am a learner and want to analyze and dissect facts. After all this time, I’ve realized it’s not always the best strategy. I think it has to be a balance – healthy analysis and then letting it all go and see what comes up. Have found this one of my greatest challenges where medical dilemmas are concerned. And YES – i believe you keeping me in your thoughts is soooooo powerful on an energetic level. And isn’t everything about energy? Thank you from the heart!

Love the photo and hope you get some positive outcome.

I admit to often taking a long list of questions and concerns to my Dr – we only got through 15% in my double appmnt last Thursday. I hope you find some manageable strategies from your medical visit. Sometimes it easier to take ‘small bites’ out of a big apple.

    April 14, 2012 at 10:00 AM

    • 😉 Thank you Victoria! Yes – my usual approach too….long lists and dr. interrogation. Hard to break the pattern there for me but trying. I agree… ‘small bites’ out of the big apple 🙂

    • Thanks so much Mari. Love your words always! We may need to write a poem or two dedicated to this inner healer of mine 🙂 …. as I really want to jump some waves this summer 🙂 So appreciate your genuineness! xo

Good for you Robyn! I was going to ask where you bought those shorts….lol 😉

    • 🙂 You would think they’d offer the patient something more couture, considering it’s the top orthopedic hospital in the nation! LOL!

      April 14, 2012 at 1:53 PM

  11. Oh, I laughed when I saw the comment from Wayne about the shorts. There are so many ways to express Spirit. No matter your way , being in alignment with this possitive live-giving , loving, Source always brings about good. You are definitely on the right track. Love the photos, they remind me to be still …and go out and get busy with a smile in my heart..

    April 14, 2012 at 4:43 PM

    • Gratitude and Appreciation Jane. You are so right…. maintaining alignment and being in touch with Source Energy are key. I’m so glad you are enjoying the blog posts here, and they help keep your heart smiling.
Gotta love those shorts – right?! 🙂

  12. Nancy

I think your knew approach of “just being” in the treatment moment may free up energy. As difficult as it has been with medical professionals letting you down, it is possible someone can help. Great Shorts! When you have great legs you look good in anything. Best, N

    April 14, 2012 at 5:18 PM

    • Thanks Nancy. Giving it a try. You are right – after all my history it’s hard to just be in the now with new medical attempts – but really working on keeping open and receptive. So glad you liked the shorts too?! xo

    • Oh how beautiful Carlos. The waterfall is magnificent. I could not get English Translation to work on it, but not necessary to appreciate the magic and positive energy flowing there. Thank you so much, and Buenos Noches my friend!

  15. Nomiated you for some well deserved awards 🙂 http://thoughtsfromtheoutdoors.wordpress.com/2012/04/14/the-award-post/

    April 14, 2012 at 8:34 PM

    • So honored David…especially coming from you. I have not ventured into the blog award world as of yet, though have multiple pending nominations.
Is it fair game to combine acceptances in one blog post to consolidate? I’ve been a bit intimidated by the process…but like the way you managed it in your post. Any deadline as to when one should make an acceptance post after being nominated? Again … warm thanks from my heart! RL

      April 14, 2012 at 9:08 PM

      • I honestly have no clue if I truly did it right or not, but it seemed like the most economical way to do it….It took me almost two hours to do that and I am still editing:))

        April 14, 2012 at 9:11 PM

      • Oh…and don’t feel pressured to accept…I almost didn’t because I didn’t want to wrte the post and I felt a bit unworthy. Just know that I nominated you because I think what you do is very special:)

        April 14, 2012 at 9:21 PM

  16. Laughing hysterically…. guess that is why I never took it on. Like how you handled it – yes economical and very elegant too:) Will try to get working on the project soon– thank you again David!!

Love, and feel the quote. Thank you for you positive nature.

    • Thank you Bill — really appreciate. I am working at it ~ some days more positive than others, but the blogging is great for my spirit. Excellent energy here:)

It is a great community, and at the end of the day, we are all in this together.

        April 15, 2012 at 10:19 PM

      • 😉

        April 15, 2012 at 10:29 PM

  18. Love this idea of releasing the question, seems sort of like the first step, which is admitting the problem. We can’t possibly expect an answer to a question that we have not asked or released. Thanks for helping me think about this in a new way! Thanks also for your strength and inspiration — sending healing prayers your way.

    April 15, 2012 at 10:30 PM

    • Oh thank you KT. Yes – often a difficult process for me to “release” all my questions, but I’m learning if we “get out of our own way” sometimes good things can more easily happen. We can’t help but inject our past history, judgements, fears, expectations etc. into trying to find the answer – and that sometimes can create obstacles in finding solutions. I’m far from expert at this, mind you – but we are all students of this magnificent process of life. Glad we are all in it together to lend support along the way! Good wishes your way always! RL

      April 15, 2012 at 10:46 PM

  19. Oh, Robyn, I always learn something from you! You are definitely in my thoughts- focusing on healing, healing, healing. I really was touched by this. I’ve been absent here in the blogosphere lately, coping yet agin with illness and pain. I, too tend to learn all I can and analyze and lately it isn’t getting me anywhere. I am going to focus on your thought of “release” and try a new strategy- I need one. I blogged today about just learning to rest when I need to- yikes, I really need to change my focus when it comes to my healing. The energy is within, I know that, and it is within you. Release and believe it. ~Susie

    April 17, 2012 at 6:22 PM

    • Hi Susie, I must have ESP – as I just finished preparing a blog post where I accept and nominate for blog awards. You were on my list and I was wondering where you have been. I too have taken a bad turn with my issues, and I’m trying to “release” all the questions, but it’s very hard after 20 years of this and decline. I will keep you in my heart too…I’m scheduled next week for spine injections – it’s a leap but I’m willing to try anything. I will be checking out your latest post. Really special to have found you – and mutual support is always a blessing! Hang it ~ RL

      April 17, 2012 at 6:45 PM

  20. You are strong Robyn, like your mom. Hope all goes well. I think it was Freud who said it’s not important to ask what is the answer, but more important, what is the question. That opens a whole new door in reasoning. LOL Angelo

    April 17, 2012 at 8:58 PM

    • Thanks Angelo. If I only knew the “right” question… that would make my post extinct! I think that is why the concept of releasing may work for some. Perhaps the proper question presents itself when we unclutter the mind with what we “think” the question is. In the meantime – I would just like to be able to release the PAIN.xxoo

      April 17, 2012 at 10:01 PM

  21. Great pictures and quote!
I agree – it is important to let go and stop to attach to results/expectations (although this is easier said than done). It is – as so many times in life – about finding the middle way.
    Just a book recommendation:

  22. Thanks so much Timo… I will check out the book. Have a library here of similar:) Yes easier said than done, but suppose the first step is always ‘awareness’. I’m working on it 🙂 Much appreciate your input and encouragement…Good thoughts your way today! RL
