Introducing Arash…
Allow me to introduce you all to an amazing young man who is suddenly faced with the greatest challenge of his lifetime . You will see that he exemplifies all that is grace, fortitude and courage. It is my great honor to introduce you to Arash, and my prayer that you support him here in his brave healing journey by seeing him through your “healing lens”.
Much Love Always ~ Robyn
I’m laying in bed, slowly waking up and adjusting my eyes to the winter sunshine as I glance out the window, when I decide to do some visualization exercises with my legs and feet. I go through the usual exercises that I’ve been doing as frequently as possible in my free time: flex my feet, bend my knee, rotate my legs in and out. Since my accident, I don’t get any movement in my lower body when I do these exercises but I’ve stubbornly and consistently kept at it. The reason why everyone – from the nurses in the ICU to my spine surgeon to my acupuncturists – has emphasized the importance of visualization is the belief that there is enormous value in sending a signal from the brain to the lower body and by thinking and trying to move those limbs, one can repair the neural pathways and reestablish that…

Thank you Benjamin. I rarely reblog here, but met Arash a month back and he’s been on my mind a lot…. I just felt compelled to introduce him to everyone here at my blog, especially knowing what an amazing group this is, and that the collective power of healing support may be very valuable to him right now. I think it’s time he met all of the “angels” we know and love here ~ Blessings and Love to you my friend ~ R

oh robyn, i have tears rolling down my cheeks. what an amazing story and told with such a tender spirit. bravo to WP for picking it up too. i am now following him and would probably never have seen his story if not for your reblogging. i may do the same and i never do either. the healing spirit within each of us is so strong, we endure so much and have such capacity for things we have no idea of. this is one of those examples. i know one day this young man will walk again.
thank you, sweet friend, for having the loving kindness to share him with all your followers. linda

Yes Linda ~ I thought the same…. I love WordPress more than ever now 🙂 I was communicating with Arash just yesterday ~ and kept thinking about how it would be so wonderful if he had more followers to watch his incredible journey and cheer him on. Then I did the “tweet” thing on his “about” post ~ and then I today I saw he was “freshly pressed” on his “wiggle” post !! ~ That was it, just had to reblog. His story breaks my heart too, but his spirit is so bright , and his determination a great example for all of us.
Thank you so much for seeing him whole and walking again. This means so much to me,
and it will even more so to Arash. Blessings and Love to you dear friend x R

Arash ~ it is my honor and pleasure to feature your story, and mission here. As I’ve said, I rarely do reblog – but just felt incredibly connected to your plight from the moment we met…. and I also sense that all the more support you get — not only physically but energetically, emotionally, spiritually, will serve you in a huge way. I think the Universe feels the same as me these days (given the latest feature on the Freshly Pressed Edition!) . Keep your vision Arash — it is perfect – as you are… and I know good things are ahead for you. You are teaching so many (including me) by the clarity of your great example as you travel this brave path. So much Love and tons of LIGHT ~ Robyn

Valerie thank you dear one. It is true — even given the very very devastating details of Arash’s story, there is the bright light that keeps shining though his words, that makes one realize, as you said, that the human spirit has unlimited capacity and more power than most of us realize. His life was altered so rapidly and yet, he’s facing each day with a smile and fierce determination. Thank you for your sweet blessings Valerie ~ so much appreciated ! ~ Love, R

Hey Robyn! I don’t know what’s wrong but I check all my emails so I can see everyone’s blogs through there. But for some reason I’m not getting any emails on your updated blogs! I don’t know why and I’m so sad I’ve been missing all your blogs 😦 I’ll have to try and adjust it somehow, I’m not sure how lol! But I’ll have to come by every couple of days to check it out! I’m sorry, I promise I haven’t been ignoring you, I just thought you weren’t posting anything lol!
