My first nature excursion in about 6 weeks!
On Friday at 4 pm I had an enchanting encounter with the sea.
A healing moment indeed.
Thanks to each of you for being so incredibly loving and supportive,
and sending me such passionate healing energies as I continue my journey.
I know they hold great power, and I love you all for the special souls you are.

Hi Robyn,
Great to “see” you. This is a beautiful refreshing poem with bursts of hope. Sending love and peace

Thank you dear boomie! Yes – to “SEE” 🙂 ~ and Hope prevails!! It is so nice to be posting again. Made a deal with myself that I will when I can – but not to be to hard on myself when not feasible. Just love this place xo

First let me compliment you on your choice for your blog’s name. A truly wonderful name, with so many obvious meanings.
Like Boomie I enjoyed the hope that shines out of your words.
Be encouraged!

Stephen, thank you so much. Your comment made me smile – I do like the blog name as well ~ and all that might be interpreted there. I am so glad you enjoyed my “Vision Quest” — Yes, Hope will eternally shine…it is the only way 🙂 Warm wishes and wellness always ~ RL

Girl, what are you doing up so late…only folks with start-up companies trying hard to write content should be up at this hour…and maybe a couple of million people throughout the US who are knocking down long necks and trying to eyeball the choices…but that is kind of whole different kind of story…hahaha…I am firmly planted in the first category.
Have a great morning…
Be encouraged!

Hey Robyn, I just got an email saying you had requested access to my site…well there isn’t any restricted site…all my posts are available at https://liferevelation.wordpress.com…we have tried to get wordpress to remedy this situation and they always assure us it won’t happen again, but…so sorry for the inconvenience…be encouraged!
September 16, 2012 at 1:25 AM
Yes – must work on my bed-time!! I get a little distracted sometimes when doing a post a midnight 🙂 Need to change my posting time I suppose ~~ but for you– good luck with the start-up company. Did read a bit about it own your Gravitar – so exciting – and see your message below about issues with accessing your blog. I will visit via the link you sent — WordPress needs to get this resolved for you too!! Sending good thoughts and love ~RL
September 16, 2012 at 12:07 PM
Thanks Robyn…I hope you and yours enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Thank you Robyn – so much!!! Very happy you enjoyed my little ‘Vision Quest’ piece here. So easy for the imagination to take me after being though the last several weeks and getting a slight reprieve last 2 days. Very grateful. Will try to post whenever I can, even as I proceed with the less ‘fun’ stuff. I have become very attached to this blogsphere you know? Thrilled you liked my latest ‘shadow’ too ~ always something special about the shadow for me!! Much Love dear friend! RL

Oh Elizabeth – thank you so much. Was so excited to be able to manage to get this shot yesterday. Very rough several weeks – -more rough road ahead – but seems like I’m given a little breathing space these last 2 days — so thrilled! Thank you for keeping me in thoughts… and very happy you enjoyed the post today!! ~ Love to you, RL ps: spoke to Dr. S on Thursday and he named about 3 different operations he could “try” … yikes! xo
September 16, 2012 at 12:56 AM
Oh my, that sounds overwhelming yet it would be a miracle to get some relief for you. I am sorry you are going through such a rough period. Take care xx

Thank you so much Tarek. Your words are soothing ~ and so kind as always. I am very delighted to have had this window of opportunity to go out and visit the natural world… the sea, my sanctuary. Have missed it and have also missed my play with photos and words. I’m so pleased you enjoyed the post — and my “hopeful shadow” here. Much Love your way today ~ I will return whenever I can… this place has become like a second home to me 🙂 ~ RL
September 16, 2012 at 11:31 AM
oh Robyn, if only you realized what a difference it makes just to have the Presence of your Beautiful Heart and Spirit Here, before you speak a word….just to see an image of you, or your smile….your Prayer, then a Photo, so magnificent. But nothing surpasses the impact of your Presence alone….it is an Energy so deeply needed by myself among many. Felt so distinctive, and it absence also even mourned. Please do not go far. I believe that you are needed her far more than you realize….You are a Beacon and you hold an irreplaceable Anchor of Love. All of mine to you! Linda
September 16, 2012 at 3:19 AM
Wow Linda – your comment just really touched the deepest center of my heart. Thank you for these generous loving words. Presence – yes – such a big topic… I understand it well. Even across the miles, and without physical contact – there is an energy that is so powerful… it is truly amazing how we can forge friendships this way and feel that energy without as much as holding hands. I am so blessed to share that here – and have the presence of you and all of of these wonderful members of our community to touch my own soul. I will stay close – continue reading and post when able — and I will stay “anchored” here forever more dearest friend. Thank you with all my heart ~Robyn

Thank you so much Victoria — I am so glad you enjoyed, and yes – it is lovely to be able to post again. I’ve got a ways to go here – but give me an inch of relief, and I will take 50 feet of opportunity to participate in life. I hope this isn’t a part of my problem… but I am sure you can relate too. Hope you are well, have not seen as many posts lately ~ let me know! xo Much Love ~ RL

Well between the intermittent rain, intermittent wrist pain (RSI ?), worsening back/hip pain from too much sitting & not enough movement or walks, and my computer issues (as my computer keeps logging me off), I’m having trouble doing anything much.
But hopefully the warmer weather will improve my pain & chronic inflammation soon.
Today, now I’ve got some Spring flower photos to share, it’s taking 5 mins or more to load just one photo (instead of 2 seconds). I’ve just done a virus check earlier today. But it’s almost at the stage of paying a computer technician to check out my computer.
My hip/lower back pain has been the worst in 2 years, recently, so I have to take strong analgesics to go for a walk. Normally, a walk taking photos is so enjoyable & so much fun, I forget about the pain & have rarely needed strong analgesics to go outdoors.
But when one has to take very strong drugs to just walk out the door, then it gets both frustrating and really tests my normally upbeat mood. I prefer alternative medicine to what I call potentially toxic drugs, but there comes a time when you’ll do anything to get outdoors in the fresh air. It’s been a long winter – thank goodness it’s Spring.
Thanks for asking and I hope you are getting some improvement from your own pain. Your pain condition is much worse than mine, but at least we can relate to each other in an understanding of how years of chronic pain can affect one’s daily routine. Most people don’t appreciate good health until they lose it like we did.

Yes, Robyn, I’m so glad you feel deeply aware of the True Self when you’re performing your art. Its wonderful to have you back with all the other blog addicts! And I’m happy that you feel the love! Yaz
September 16, 2012 at 5:06 AM
Yaz ~ must confess that as I was pouring these words out Friday, I held a vision of YOU! & Yes — I do tap into my “True Self” much when creating — it is really the only way I can do any of this. It’s really hard to when I’m in the midst of the “whirlwinds” physically… especially in severe pain… but I never stop working toward that. You are an inspiration there as well.
Wow – the blog addict thing is pretty powerful stuff hugh? 🙂 I’m really having to pace myself — but I’ll be around – reading and writing and snapping whenever I can! Much Love your way Dear Yaz! xo
September 16, 2012 at 11:45 AM
Much love to you Robyn. Its not easy, we’re all struggling, but we’ll get there together! Thank you for the love we feel through your deepest efforts. Yaz

Thank you dear Meryl ~ yes — was a special moment for me… after being aways so long there is renewed love and appreciation for the very simple joys of life like being able to take steps on wet sand! 🙂 The Healing Lens — oh that is just a whole amazing topic…. over tea my friend !! Hi Robyn, I am very pleased, like your other followers to see your post. Congratulations on your excursion with nature, I know you’re at peace here. Your prose is truly from the soul. Beautiful and moving. And the photograph a reflection of your written words (or perhaps the other way around). Just wonderful my most special friend, Much love to you always, Penny xxoo
September 16, 2012 at 8:48 PM
Thank you dear Penny 🙂 Yes – my peaceful place. I so wanted to be able to have another reunion with the sea before we go through transition to winter. And yes – the prose almost always comes after my encounter with the “lens” — Just has been this way from the start of my writing. I think the lens is my portal and then I’m able to go deeper to access the words of my soul. At least that is what it feels like is happening. So appreciate your love and encouragement always ~ RL xo

The sand beneath the sole
opens the golden door
that leads to my own soul ….
where the magnified and the magnifying
become one ,
I become the truth
Held in the eye of a fleeting moment
dying with the wind’s whiff
yet waking up again from
the gold inside the day’s dream …
September 17, 2012 at 8:33 PM
Oh Nika — you are really outdoing yourself with each of these incredible comments in response to my verses — this may be my new favoirte – though I did also adore the one you did for Finale a ton… This one just seems very in tune with what I was feeling in the moment here… in so many ways — you have a gift!! by changing the eyes
and still be seen
in the darker night .
Heartbeats join them
in this flirtatious venture
my sighs beat in your heart
your beats become my words…
