Robyn I love this would consider selling copies? I would love this for my office. Doing a little revamping. My space looks stale. I would love to frame it with your quote. Let me know.

Beautiful image. How lucky you were to catch the flock of birds at just the right time (so that the sun outlined their bodies).

Thanks so much Victoria. Was pure luck for sure. I just arrived – did not feel too great – and had the i phone camera handy. I was actually amazed when I saw the defined outlines of the birds bodies! Lighting must have been just right for that!!

The way you were able to stop motion so clearly almost makes it look like a painting.

Thanks Jill! When I first noticed how defined the birds’ wings looked I thought almost a bit spooky! Guess in real life they are never still enough to notice all the detail:)

So astounding you were able to capture so many birds in flight – with no blur??!!
February 21, 2012 at 5:13 PM
Thanks Ivy! Was amazed myself– pure luck!!

“You were born with wings, why prefer to crawl through life…” Rumi. Thank you for pairing one of my favourite Rumi quotes with this stunning photo. I am enjoying your marvelous creativity this afternoon filled with swirling rain outside. Thank you for looking at life with fresh new eyes. It’s a real delight. Many hugs, Sharon

Aww – so glad you enjoyed Sharon. Yes — why crawl?? I agree with Rumi 🙂 We have had some wild rain storms today aw well… does seem to lend itself to getting cozy with creative explorations I think. I so appreciate your warm and loving comment… This is my therapy mostly, but have encountered so many wonderful souls here like yourself the have made the journey so much more than I ever anticipated. Hugs to you my friend … Robyn Lee
