So pretty… magical… each snowflake a floating sprite in the forest… cool wintry sky but a warm respite in the tall grases below…

Ivy, you are so very poetic! Thank you so much. Yes – was bitter cold outside at dusk, but the unexpected snowfall made the outing worthwhile. For this one was not in the forest (hip was not up for much) but just a short walk around my block. Setting is lovely still!

Even more amazing that you were just walking around the block when you captured this — I can’t stop gazing at it! Truly great work!

So glad you are enjoying the image Ivy! Makes me feel so good to share with others…we are all connected in some way!

Well now…the smell of snow…that I know well..the smell of snow, ice, snowfog…some how as much as I crave heat…this smell of chilled frozen water molecules…a delicious smell indeed! Love it…forget the rules, this is lovely!

Thanks Lady Day! Yes – snow does have such a clean fresh smell – new new new!! Glad you think ok – at the beginning of blogging I was just posting photos and then linking to these very short verses…but as you know – I have given that up mostly and now put poetry alongside or above the photo… I hope can do that with Passionflower – maybe next week sometime as have an idea for a shot of one 🙂
