There is something so simple about the scene… yet there is complexity in the different “paths” or “journey representations” of the tire tracks, footprints, wave motion, fence shadows… lots to gaze at in such a sparse yet rich scene.

Thanks Ivy…yes – lots to gaze at – and wonder about in this one. Of course my mind went right to those tiny little piping plovers, and the wood gates being their safe-haven in the busy summer season. I loved the shadows and tracks too!
