Yes dear Resa ~ you are absolutely correct — we caught him “in the zone” – a beautiful place to be! Yes – in many respects, “a love-affair” — and for this master martial artist — a very long term one too 🙂 I am fortunate to have such a great shot to inspire my passionate poem.

No, I have been a kickboxer for a big part of my life, but I have always been interested in the Eastern Martial Arts and have followed a couple of karate, thai chi and ai’kido sessions, but nothing recurring.
It is a beautiful art, absolutely.

Thanks Daan – yes these various practices are so incredible – healing on many levels. With your kick boxing experience I would imagine Ai-kido would come fairly natural to you. This form of Tai Chi takes many years to master. Then there is another level of this you may be familiar with, ‘Push Hands’ which is really cool as well. ~ All great stuff! i will post an update this weekend but the whole health perspective is awry at present. you know, i’m sure. just over my head with lots of symptoms and my doc is out of town again so have been really floundering. i couldn’t keep my last appt and should have gotten myself there. so it’s been too long… i’ll live.

Wow Poojy – do you practice it? It is funny because I carefully chose my words with Tai Chi in mind… but it came out rather sensual it seems. This Tai Chi man in the photo tells me it is a sensual martial art — so maybe I was on target 🙂 I am thrilled you enjoyed it! : ) ~ Love to you… Robyn

Thank you Robyn, for all the detailed explanation. I did taichi for 5 years when I was in my primary school, around 1982-86. It’s a pity that I did not continue since then. It was a choice given by my father, a gift of love in my life =).
