Hope & Healing Through Images & Poetic Expression ~ Robyn Lee

Navigating Obstacles

My beloved ‘co-navigator’ trying to help me steer clear of surgeons and surgery for a while escorts me to Philadelphia to explore a new rehab program geared for….hockey-pros?

Me…. trying to keep pain levels at bay by lying in the trunk of our Landcruiser on a memory foam mattress pad with legs elevated on foam wedge. Not very effective pain management method with four hours of bumpy road under my butt and a femur that won’t sit happy in its socket!

Very Special thanks to Hubby for putting up with my ongoing moaning and keeping me sane and hopeful :) When I got really cranky he suggested I do a photo-shoot in the car, and that is how this post was conceived!!!!

  3. Wow this is exactly what navigating obstacles look like for me too! Oh those hospital trips I tell you. I’ve taken photos of each day out of my hospital room the last time I stayed. I’m starting to find healing through the lens too! Keep fighting those darn obstacles!
