In the spirit of Father’s Day, I dedicate this post to my amazing Dad who taught me to live passionately, love fully and never give up on the notion that we can create our own luck.
Your dad looks wonderful! Beautiful post and dedication. Do you know, Robyn, that I actually wait for your daily posts – they seem to switch the light on for me. Love Juliexxx
Thanks Julie…yes – he’s pretty incredible one-of-a-kind guy We actually celebrated tonight so just took this shot this evening. Surprised he agreed to model as is not his style, but he appeased me!! You are too sweet — really switch the light on?? That is wonderful to hear and amazing Julie – So appreciate your saying ~~ xo
Thank you Victoria! His eyes are more of your eye-color (super gorgeous blue) — mine are very green — but do think same shape!! Appeicate your good wishes!! We did dinner with Dad tonight — thus the 2nd picture —
You’re not the first person to think I have blue eyes Robyn – they are a greyish-green, but if I put blue mascara on my fair eyelashes, my eyes look more blue. They seem to change colour depending on my state of health.
Thanks Meryl- spontaneous photo-shoot at Baby Moon last night LOL! So rare I get to go out that I think they would do anything to appease me Fun stuff!! He had a great day…. xo
Thanks so very much Celeste. Yes – he wanted me to know that outside forces may influence, but don’t always have to determine our destiny, and we can participate in creating our best life. Was profound to me as a little girl since I thought you had to be “lucky” for good things to occur. Of course on Father’s Day I asked him directly about his thoughts on health challenges – and there he said, we had less control unfortunately. Was interesting how the blog post spurred this dialogue! So happy you enjoyed the post as well Celeste – and hoping you get your wordpress woes all worked out very soon!! Much Love ~RL
This last picture of you sitting in his lap just inspired me to write something…here goes if you don’t mind . It came to me in another language but i wrote it in English
” A daughter is never too old
To be loved by her father
A son is never too old
to be scolded by his father
A child is never too old
to be loved by her father”
Aww..thank you for that boomie — wonderful words – and so thrilled that the photo inspired them… Yes – I think a daughter is always seen as her father’s ‘child’ or ‘little girl’ — though a son may be a different story!! Sending warm wishes tonight ~ RL

Beautiful post and photographs, I wrote this for my Dad…
Fathers Day
What can We say to the best Dad in the World,
We love you, you know that,
What is Love?
Loving is caring and sharing and not judging.
Loving is being there for one another,
In times of need, in times of sorrow, in happy times,
Love is the best,
Love takes over the rest,
Love makes everything alright,
Love helps you sleep well at night,
(So does a glass of Wine or Brandy Lol)
Love is a safe feeling that makes you feel warm,
Love is an anecdote that makes you feel calm.
Love is unconditional and true.
Love is You.
Keep up the great posts
Best Wishes
Baarbaara
